Urban Anchor :  Community Transformation

Imun 2-dong is undergoing a significant urban transformation driven by the large-scale residential redevelopment of the surrounding area. The Imun 2-dong Complex Public Building and Public Parking Garage is strategically positioned to serve as the central civic anchor of this transformation, both in terms of its programmatic diversity and its pivotal site location.

Situated along one of the busiest pedestrian routes in the district, the building serves as a vibrant hub for civic administration and cultural engagement, while establishing itself as a prominent landmark for the community.

Directly responding to the high volume of pedestrian traffic from Sinimun Station (Exit 1), the Grass Plaza (Event Plaza) is designed to encourage easy access and active participation by commuters and residents alike. The multi-level extension of this public green space seamlessly draws visitors into the upper levels of the complex, fostering a natural synergy between public activity and administrative services. This architectural approach not only enhances accessibility but also creates a pleasant and welcoming environment for both the community and welfare centers.
